CPT Majied graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography and was commissioned as an Infantry Officer in the New Jersey Army National Guard through Rutgers Army ROTC in May of 2014. His previous assignments include Rifle Platoon Leader, Reconnaissance Platoon Leader, and Rifle Company Executive Officer in the 2nd Battalion 113th Infantry Regiment. He deployed as an Company Executive Officer in support of Operation Enduring Freedom to the Horn of Africa, and returned to join the Active Guard Reserve (AGR) Program in January of 2020. From 2020 to 2025, he served as the Assistant S-3, the Administrative Officer and AGR Supervisor for the 2d Battalion 113th Infantry Regiment, supported two JRTC rotations, and assumed Command of a Rifle Company from November 2021 to August 2025. In 2024, he deployed as a Rifle Company Commander in support of Operation Inherent Resolve to serve as a base commander in Syria. Upon returning, he joined the Recruiting and Retention Battalion to serve as an Assistant Professor of Military Science.

 

His professional education includes the Infantry Basic Officer Leadership Course, Maneuver Captains Career Course, Ranger School, among others. His awards and decorations include the Bronze Star, Combat Infantryman’s Badge, Ranger Tab, Operation Inherent Resolve Campaign Service Ribbon, the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary and Service Medals, 2x Army Commendation Medals, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, and 18 other state and reserve component awards
