CPT Ryan Perez

CPT Perez joined the Scarlet Knight team during the summer of 2023. He graduated from Norwich University with a B.A. in Political Science and was commissioned as a Field Artillery Officer in 2015. CPT Perez was initially assigned to 5-3 FA, 17th Fires Brigade at Joint Base Lewis-McCord, WA. During this time, he served as a Platoon Leader, where deployed to Iraq (2017) in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, and an Executive Officer. In 2019, he was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 10th Combat Aviation Brigade at Fort Drum, NY. He served as the Task Force Assistant Operations Officer during the unit's deployment to Afghanistan (2019) in support of Operation Resolute Support and Operation Freedom's Sentinel. Upon his return, CPT Perez was reassigned to serve as the S4 for the 2nd Battalion, 15th Field Artillery Regiment. CPT Perez assumed command of Alpha Battery, 2-15FA from December 2021 to April 2023.
