CPT Gabrielle Carpenito hails from Exeter, New Hampshire, commissioning as a second lieutenant from the United States Military Academy at West Point as an Adjutant General Officer in 2018. Following completing the Basic Officers Leaders Course, CPT Carpenito was assigned to the 2nd Infantry Division Sustainment Brigade at Camp Humphreys, South Korea where she served as the Brigade Strength Manager. She PCS’d to Fort Campbell Kentucky in 2019 where she served as a Battalion S1 to the 2nd Battalion, 44th Air Defense Artillery Regiment from 2019-2022. During this time, she was deployed to CENTCOM for 6 months as the Battalion S1 in support of Operation Freedom Sentinel and Operation Inherent Resolve.

CPT Carpenito graduated from the Adjutant General Captain’s Career Course in May 2022. She PCSd to Fort Bragg, North Carolina, serving as the 1st Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment’s Battalion S1 with a rotation to JRTC and Immediate Response Force duties. In May 2023, CPT Carpenito was assigned to the G1, 82d Airborne Division as the Plans and Operations Officer where she deployed to Romania in 2024 for 5 months in support of Operation Assure, Deter, and Reinforce. Following her return from Romania, CPT Carpenito was assigned as the Brigade S1 for the 82d Combat Aviation Brigade from May 2024 to June 2025. CPT Carpenito arrived at the Scarlet Knight Battalion in July 2025. 

CPT Carpenito’s awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal 3 Bronze Oak Leaf, Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Inherent Resolve Campaign Medal, Global War Terrorism Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Army Overseas Service Ribbon 2 Numeral, NATO Medal.
