SFC Manship joined the Army in January 2013 and completed One Station Unit Training at Fort Moore, GA. His assignments include roles in the 82nd Airborne Division at Ft. Liberty, NC, and the 5th Ranger Training Battalion at Camp Merrill, GA.

Throughout his career, SFC Manship has held every position from Rifleman to Platoon Sergeant and has served in special duty positions such as Ranger Instructor and Military Science Instructor. He has deployed supporting Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan and Operation European Assure, Deter, and Reinforce.

His military education includes various military courses, including Ranger School, Airborne, Air Assault, Pathfinder, Jumpmaster, and leadership and instructor training.

SFC Manship's awards and decorations include the Combat Infantryman’s Badge, Expert Infantryman’s Badge, Ranger Tab, Master Parachutist Badge, Pathfinder Badge, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medals, and numerous campaign and service ribbons.

SFC Manship is married to Kimberly Manship, and they have two children: Kennedy and Jackson.
