CPT Richard Trotter

CPT Trotter joined the Scarlet Knight team in July of 2022 as the battalion S3 and MSIII Instructor. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.A. in Mandarin Chinese and commissioned through the Reserve Officer Training Corps in 2014. As an Infantry officer, he has served as a rifle platoon leader, mortar platoon leader, and staff officer with the 1-36 Infantry Battalion, 1st Brigade, 1st Armored Division. As a Signal officer, he has served as the Alpha Company commander in the 112th Signal Battalion (Special Operations) (Airborne), 528th Sustainment Brigade, 1st Special Forces Command.  He has deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Resolute Support.
